Wacom tablet issues?

Hi All, After a long absence (work has been really busy) I've finally got a few weeks off and I thought I'd fire up Synfig and see how it's coming along. I downloaded 1.01-6 for Windows, and ran it on a clean Windows7 install. My main concern right now is that there seems to be an offset from where ...

Re: Konstantin's weekly report #2

Great work! Especially the first feature - often asked for but tough to explain to people.

Re: (Help!) No Canvas

Sounds like the file that holds the windows locations may have got messed up. A couple of things to try :- File -> Panels -> Reset Windows to Original Layout if that doesn't work, close Synfig, and delete the files in C:\Users\<username>\Synfig They will get re-created the next time you launch the p...

I may break some links, but I hope no-one will care...

At some point in the next month or two, I may well be switching internet providers. As a result, some of the links to my old examples or artwork may break as the web pages will cease to exist. I don't think there's anything particularly current that will be affected, but there may be some old wiki l...

Re: Building Synfig on Windows (Konstantin's report)

Note that while you may not have done anything to explicitly 'fix' multi-threading, the fact that you're using a different compiler and not the MSYS environment, may be enough that it now works as it does under Linux. Yes? When I get a chance I'd like to be able to duplicate your Fedora cross compil...

Re: Linux binaries for 0.64.0 (candidate #3)

Unfortunately I think I've hit the wall as far as we can go with the MSYS build environment. Everything compiles fine, but the resulting synfig.exe is unable to run. Zelgadis is having some success with the fedora cross compile environment, so I'm hoping that he'll be able to pick up the Windows bui...

Re: Development snapshots for 0.64.1 **Bones branch included

I had a stab at using the fedora build script, but I think I need a few more pieces than the script installs.. It failed when failing to find autoreconf. I installed automake, autoconf and libtool, but now I'm getting failures with libtool trying to copy files from usr/share/libtool/libltdl which do...

Re: Error trying to build synfig 0.64 in windows 7

Were there any error before the "Done: ETL" ?
The last line is a straight print statement and will be printed on success or fail.

Re: Synfig, CReatoon and other animation software

There is slightly more functionality on Linux than Windows (support for ImageMagick++) and multithreading is turned off for Windows, but apart from that, the experience should be comparable.

Yay!
If you have the binaries, I can bundle them and package them for Windows.

Re: Development snapshots for 0.64.1 **Bones branch included

Still working on the Windows release. It's getting closer now.

No-one's working on the single GUI concept beyond brainstorming what it might look like, AFAIK. If/when it does get coded, then there will be a Windows build, assuming nothing too disastrous breaks.

Re: Linux binaries for 0.64.0 (candidate #3)

Quick and dirty hack to get it to compile (I don't even know if it will work) #ifdef WIN32 String dir; dir = String(getenv("HOMEDRIVE"))+ETL_DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR+getenv("HOMEPATH"); python_path = etl::dirname(etl::dirname(dir)+ETL_DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR+"python"+ETL_DIRECTO...
