You can achieve slow motion also in Synfig. Also slow motion can be applied only to certain layers, not all the animation, what allows make Matrix movie like actions.

Ah, I like the capability! But the process itself is painfully tedious... :(

I'll try finding out a simpler method in Synfig.

BTW, if we ever have Layer/Animation management similar to Adobe Edge, we could always have the "Encapsulate Keyframe" trick in the Timetrack; envelope all the keyframes and "scale" them to shorter timespan or longer (like in Blender). :D
