Hi! I am completely new to Synfig and animation. I have a stupid question here and hope you guys don't mind. I have render an output as avi from Synfig. I can watch it with KMPlayer. Yet for some reason it is nothing but black when I put it into Wax 2.0 or Microsoft Movie Maker. Anyone can shed some light on it please?

you problably miss some codec for wax or mmm. can you try to render in another format from Synfig to see if that helps?

Try to use VLC player to play the avi file. It has all the needed codecs.
