Is there any post with the exact instructions on how to render to video?
Hi Omar,
Click on > file > render, leave the format to "auto" and name the file after the format you want to generate. I often use "my_file.mkv" or "my_file.mp4" or "my_file.avi". (be sure NOT to check "render current frame only", otherwise, obviously, you're not gonna have a video

The rest of the settings are recovered automatically from your synfig file settings (dimensions, length, fps...) so you don't need to change them if you picked the right profile to start with.
hope this helps.
B.
